About the event
The Sia Yorker Brain Awareness Scholarship Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the late Sia Christine Yorker's legacy, is hosting the 2023 4th Virtual 5K BRAIN HEMORRHAGE WALK/RUN Fundraiser. Sia, who was accepted to the University of Florida Gainesville in her third year of college at the age of 19, died on June 21st, 2011 from a Sudden Acute Brain Hemorrhage. Sia concentrated on advancing education through health and fitness events, as well as community outreach with seniors and youth.
The 4th Virtual 5K BRAIN HEMORRHAGE WALK/RUN will take place Saturday, October 7, 2023.
Online registration is only available to those signing up as a Team or an Individual participant from outside the State of Florida.
